* Prevention of Damage by Pest Act 1949: o Section 4 We would be obliged if you can provide us with the following details in regards to notices/Orders that have been made by Scottish Borders Council under the legislation listed above:
* Notices or Orders that remain extant as at 13th May 2024
* Notices or Orders that have been complied with and have monies owed to Scottish Borders Council as at 13th May 2024
* Notices or Orders that have invoices pending in respect of works carried out by or on behalf of Scottish Borders Council to resolve the matter as at 13th May 2024
If it is not possible for the details of outstanding monies to be confirmed we would be obliged if you can provide us with the following details:

2 Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949 (section 4) notice served: -
17th May 2022 on Halliburton Place,TD1 -
Works required Prevent rats gaining access to any source of food in your back garden either by removing the food or enclosing it in rodent-proof containers. Deny rats any harbourage within your back garden. Treat the existing rat infestation with an appropriate rodenticide ensuring that non-target species are protected.
Works were required to be completed within 7 days upon receipt of notice not completed in timescale and works carried out in default by the council.
25th July 2023 on High Street, Hawick, TD9 -
Works required to block holes to building structure to prevent rodent access. Works were required to be completed in 21 days upon receipt of notice not completed and works carried out in default by the council.
