Response: No formal online or face to face meeting took place with minutes regarding this issue.
No study was carried out on moving the bottle banks.

A request was made by the local Cllrs for Eyemouth for the bottle banks to be removed from the swimming pool car park and relocated to outside the recycling centre. Issues with fly tipping and wanting additional car parking spaces in the area were the reasons behind the request.
No consultation was carried out by Waste Services prior to the move. Posters were put up in the Co-op and on the banks prior to the move making the public aware that they would be moving.
