- Please could you provide details on the number of staff employed at the council in roles focused on equality, diversity or inclusivity and their salary band.

- From an internal perspective SBC do not have any roles specifically focussed on equality, diversity and inclusion. The aim is to mainstream this across services. A number of senior officers have equality, diversity and inclusion as part of their remit. We have an Equalities Forum which is chaired by two Directors and the membership includes another Director and other senior officers. This considers any matters arising in these areas and looks at how the Council is complying with its equality duties. Equality Ambassadors, who are officers who have volunteered to take on the role provide support and guidance to Council Officers on these matters.
