- Our approach to reporting on pupil achievement is guided by national policy; Reporting should provide accurate, evidence-based information about learners progress within Curriculum for Excellence curriculum areas. (Education Scotland, 2017) Within the Broad General Education, standardised assessments are used to help teachers to understand pupil learning. They are not definitive or absolute measures of progress and attainment. No. The results of standardised assessments are used to inform next steps in learning. Any sharing would be to support these next steps. See above Yes. Attainment data would fall within the parameters of an information request. No but the Council adheres to retention periods set out by SCARRS (Scottish Council on Archives Record Retention Schedules)
