Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Local Plan for the Scottish Borders - Consultations

Consultation subject
Local Plan for the Scottish Borders
Summary details
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) have been preparing to publish a new three-year local plan for the Scottish Borders for the period 2014-17. They welcome your comments and feedback through a consultation survey.

Both a copy of the draft local plan and the feedback survey can be accessed via their website.

This draft local plan contains the SFRS priorities for the Scottish Borders area with a rationale and explanation of how these were identified and will be delivered.

Although the SFRS local plan sets out the priorities for the Fire and Rescue Service, they will continue to work with our community planning partners and local communities to make the most efficient use of resources and contribute towards the shared priorities and actions within the community planning partnership and community safety arrangements.

The SFRS also intend to hold a series of local events, including open days at our fire stations, during January and February next year where our staff will be available to discuss the local plan in more detail.
