NHS Borders flu vaccination programme - 2025

Information for frontline health and social care staff

NHS Borders is offering drop-in clinics for this year’s flu vaccine. Please note only frontline health and social care workers are eligible for the free flu vaccination programme.

COVID-19 vaccines are not being offered this year (per JCVI guidance). Some staff will be eligible due to underlying health conditions—if so, they will receive a letter, email, or text with their appointment details or how to book.

Unfortunately, NHS Borders is limited in the number of drop-in clinics they can provide in the community this year. However, they are regularly reviewing their health centre or community hospital based clinics, and where there is capacity, time will be protected for staff drop-in vaccinations. These clinics are usually short (1-1.5 hours) and advertised with a few days notice.

Available dates and times will be updated below as soon as we receive the details—please check back for the latest information.

If you have any questions, please speak with your line manager.
