Tweeddale Citizen of the Year 2022 nominations extended

Published: 3rd February 2023

Local residents now have until Friday 24 February to put forward names for the Tweeddale Citizen of the Year Award 2022 after the nomination period was extended

Since its introduction in 1991, the award recognises members of the local community who have gone the extra mile to benefit the area and played a significant part in community life.

John Falla from Peebles was the recipient of the 2021 award after impressing the Selection Panel with his tireless work organising the towns flower displays and his involvement with the Peebles March Riding and Beltane Queen Festival Committee. John’s nomination was made by multiple members within the local community who felt his dedication and commitment to the town of Peebles deserved recognition.
