A public consultation event to consider the future of Peebles High School on Monday 16 March has been postponed.
However, other opportunities to find out more information and share thoughts on how the site, damaged by fire last November, may look in years to come will still be available.
A successful first meeting of key stakeholders was held at the school on Thursday 12 March.
Representatives from PHS, parent councils, partner organisations and community groups joined us to discuss key issues based around the following themes:
- What works well within the school and the wider site?
- What doesn’t work well?
- What should this site look like in 2030?
Views and points raised from this event will feed in to the wider public consultation taking place over the coming weeks.
More information about how you can contribute to this, including an online survey and new events, will be available soon. However in the meantime if anyone has any initial thoughts they can email Catriona Bhatia, Project Liaison Officer.
Investment to bring forward a major transformation of Peebles High School is included in our budget, which was approved on 26 February.
