We are looking for final feedback on proposals to close Ettrick Primary School and permanently re-zone the catchment area to Kirkhope Primary School.

A statutory consultation was held in accordance with the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 from 4 March 2019 to 28 April 2019.

The feedback received from this has now been incorporated into a consultation report which will be presented at the Council meeting on 29 August 2019 for a decision on implementation of the proposals.

Give your views and suggestions

In advance of that meeting, an additional consultation period is being held to give people the opportunity to submit any further comments or alternative suggestions. This closes on 19 July 2019.

The report and relevant documentation is available to read online.

"We would like to thank everyone for the feedback they have provided so far in relation to these proposals. All the issues raised have been incorporated into the Consultation Report and we are now looking for people to give us any final views or comments that they may have before it is presented to elected members for their decision.”
