Man holding three paper surveys

Tell us about your life in the Borders and how satisfied you are with our services.

Our 2018 household survey is now available to fill in.

We would like to hear from anyone that lives in the Borders.

Help us to shape what we do

Results of the survey, which will be available in the autumn, will help us to shape future services.

2,706 people completed the last survey carried out in 2015 with 92% stating that they were satisfied with their neighbourhood as a place to live and 65% of respondents stating that they rated Scottish Borders Council as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’.

Councillor Sandy Aitchison, Executive Member for Neighbourhoods and Locality Services:

"Whether you have lived here for one year or many years, use only a few or a number of our services, we want to hear about your experience of living in the region and how well you think we are doing.

“Completing the survey is just one of the ways in which you can play #yourpart and help us plan what we do with the resources that are available.”

More information

This will be the first time that the survey will not be sent directly to a selection of households. Anyone who lives in the area can complete it.

If you don’t want to fill it in online, paper copies will be available from libraries and council contact centres. You can also contact us and ask for a copy to be posted to you by calling 01835 826626.
