Employability fund – stage 2

We are contracted by Skills Development Scotland to deliver this programme through a 12 week training programme for 16 - 29 year olds.

How it works

  • We deliver a 12 week training programme.
  • No expenses or outlays. The young person will be paid a Young Person's Allowance by Skills Development Scotland for the duration of the training.
  • We provide on-going support to the young person to progress onto the Employability Fund – Stage 3.

The benefits

  • SCQF level 3 qualifications in Employability and Communications skills gained.
  • Progression towards gaining work experience and paid employment.

Employability fund - stage 3

We are contracted by Skills Development Scotland to deliver this programme through 12 week work experience placements for 16 - 29 year olds.

How it works

  • Match employers with a young person who is interested in gaining work experience in a particular occupational area.
  • Employers offer a work placement for approximately12 weeks.
  • No commitment to the employer to recruit. The young person will have gained valuable employability skills.
  • No expenses or outlays. The young person will be paid a Young Person's Allowance by Skills Development Scotland for the duration of the placement.
  • We provide on-going support to the young person in line with the needs of the employer.
