How we will use your information

We will use your information as part of the consultation process for the project. We are collecting and using this information to fulfil its duty to give interested parties the opportunity to be fully involved with the project.

The information you have provided will be retained for approximately 12 months, this will be dependent on the Planning Process.

Who we may share your information with

Your information will be accessed by our staff who need to use it in order to complete the project. Your information may be shared with the consultants and contractors working on the project and they will delete it/return it to us following the expiry of their involvement with the project.

Your information may also be shared and analysed internally in order to provide management information, inform service delivery reform and similar purposes to meet our duty to achieve best value and continuous service improvement. 

In general we do not transfer personal data outside either the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) and on the rare occasions when we do so, we will inform you. We will only transfer data outside the UK and the EEA when we are satisfied that the party which will handle the data and the country it is processing it in will provide adequate safeguards for personal privacy. 

Decision-Making

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes. Some processes are semi-automated (such as anti-fraud data matching) but a human decision maker will always be involved before any decision is reached in relation to you

If you have provided anyone else's details to us, please make sure that you have told them that you have given their information to us. We will only use this information as part of the assessment of your need for services and to contact them in connection with delivery of any such services.
