- Due to the close proximity of overhead cables to the bottle banks, our contractor is unable to service this site in a safe manner. As we have been unable to find an alternative location at this time, we have regrettably had to take the decision to remove the bottle banks with effect from 15 July 2016. If a suitable location is identified in the future we would be happy to return the bottle banks to Ayton. For free re-usable hessian bags to store your glass and transport to the nearest bottle bank, please contact customer services on 0300 100 1800. Alternative bottle bank locations include Eyemouth Northern Caravan Park, Eyemouth Swimming Pool car park and Eyemouth Community Recycling Centre.
