Co-production

What are we hoping to achieve?

Meaningful involvement of communities from the outset in the development, design and delivery of service.

Co-production means that the people who use the services are equally involved, alongside professionals, in the planning and delivering of services.

We already take this approach in some areas, for example during a review of charging policies within Social Work but we will seek to co-produce more of our services in the future.

Who is leading the work?

Elaine Torrance
