Galashiels is proud to welcome you to the 14th Scottish Borders Festival of Walking, a superb week long celebration of walking and the countryside for all ages and abilities.
Now in its fourteenth year, this week long event offers a diverse range of 50 walks all exploring the rich wildlife, fascinating geology, intriguing history and remarkable archaeology associated with the Scottish Borders.
After your day out walking we hope you will want to enjoy your exciting array of evening entertainment that's sure to keep you busy.
Galashiels is within easy reach of the Moorfoot, Lammermuir and Cheviot hill ranges, the Yarrow, Ettrick and Tweed Valleys and surrounded by rich farmland and lush countryside, making the town an ideal base for walking in the area.
Be it your first walking festival or an experienced returning hill walker, the Scottish Borders Festival of Walking is fun, friendly and certainly where you want to be!
