The sport and leisure facilities within the Scottish Borders are maintained by four leisure trusts or Scottish Borders Council providing a wide range of activities in the Borders:
- leisure centres by area
- private fitness centres
- district halls available for hire - maintained by Scottish Borders Council
- play areas and equipment
- sport pitches for hire - maintained by Scottish Borders Council
- sport facilities for hire at secondary schools
- sport facilities for hire at primary schools
