Old Gala House - Galashiels
A fine historic building housing museum and art displays in addition to the meeting rooms. The oldest part of the building
dates from circa 1513 when it was the home of the Hopringles. There are 6 rooms available for hire, each with great character
and well furnished for meetings. An overhead projector and screen are available to aid presentations. The Boyd Gallery is
only available outwith the museum season but it used for small concert recitals, conferences and training courses. The Scott
Room is ideal for wedding receptions and the grounds provide a fine setting for those important photographs recording the
day. There is a small, newly refitted, kitchen in the house which hirers are free to use to make tea, coffee and refreshments.
Each room can be supplied with tables and seating as required and an overhead projector, screen and flip chart stand are on site.
