If you use Borders Pay and Display car parks on a regular basis, it is possible to buy an annual parking permit from our Traffic
Management and Road Safety Service that is valid in some locations. Make further enquiries or download an application form in PDF format (95kB).

Paying parking fines
Parking fines that are handed out by Traffic Wardens or Police Officers should be paid at the Sheriff Court buildings (external link).
Charge Notices, received in pay and display car parks, can be paid as follows:
- You can pay by cash, cheque or postal order at any Scottish Borders Council Contact Centre - please have your Charge Notice details with you.
- You can pay by cheque or postal order by post to the address listed on the Charge Notice. Please do NOT send cash by post.
At present we cannot accept phone payments or on-line payments, but we hope to be able to in the future.
