Parking Strategy
In 2005, the Council consulted on the problems of parking in Borders towns and developed a future strategy for parking. This strategy has now been approved by Council and is ready for implementation subject to budget availability.
Enforcement resources in the area are presently limited, resulting in the length of stay and other restrictions often being
ignored.The intention of this document is to provide a consistent parking framework across the whole
of the Scottish Borders area.
