Voyage of The Vampire
The Vampire diary was received as part of a collection donated to the Heritage Hub in Hawick by Ian Abernethy in 2008. It is one highlight from a rich collection of diaries and papers from Sir George and the wider family.

The Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce is a membership based organisation providing an independent voice for the Border businesses. It exists to promote the interests of its members and the economic well being of the region as a whole.

Heart of Hawick
The £10m Heart of Hawick project was one of the biggest and most unique regeneration projects in the Scottish Borders. The project is a multi-agency arts and heritage initiative designed to contribute to the social, cultural and economic regeneration of Hawick and the wider Borders.
