Walks in and around towns

Walks Around Towns - The Scottish Borders provides many opportunities for outdoor recreation including walking, cycling, horse-riding and water-sports activities.

Town Trails  - Generally start in the town centres and will take about 1-2 hours to complete. In some towns interpretation boards mark the start of the Trail and all trails have a series of plaques on buildings along the route.
