Snow risk for the Borders
Published on Friday 3rd February 2012
Residents should be aware there is a risk of snow this weekend (4-5 February).
Weather forecast
Snow is forecast to affect parts of the UK this weekend.
The greatest snow risk is for much of England and Wales but there is also likely to be snow on the leading edge of a band of rain which will cross Scotland on Saturday morning.
A Yellow (Be Aware) Alert for Snow has been issued for eastern and southeast England on Saturday, and this just fringes into the south-eastern parts of the Scottish Borders.
Please visit the met office website for more information.
