Public exhibition to take place
Plans to regenerate Hawick's Wilton Lodge Park are going on show.A public exhibition is being held in the town's Heritage Hub between 2pm and 8pm on Thursday 2 February.
We are aiming to return the park to its former glory and to attract more people by offering a wider range of activities, play equipment, improved coffee facilities and easier access.
Wilton Lodge Park proposals include a new footbridge, an all age playpark, reinstating the bandstand, renovating the café and possible changes to the walled garden.
We are also looking for people to bring old colour photographs of the park to the exhibition.
These will be scanned and will help us compile an album of how the park used to look.
