Kelso skate park and playground upgraded.
Play facilities at Shedden Park in Kelso have been improved.
The skate park has been resurfaced, new equipment has been added and the area has been reorganised. The designs and suggestions of young Kelsonians were central to the outcome of these upgrades.
The play area now includes a large galleon named the Nancy Dawson which is a super-sized multi-play unit designed to be an exciting focal point. It contains activities for all age groups including limited mobility users.
Along from the play area is the Keepers Lodge. This Category B Listed Building has been refurbished - restoring a local landmark building to its former glory for the benefit of the whole community.
