    The Whiteadder Sailing Centre near Cranshaws was formally opened on Friday (May 27) by Euan Robson, Deputy Minister for Education & Young People and MSP for Roxburgh and Berwickshire.

    Residents in Roxburgh are being congratulated on their recycling skills. The processing company has said that early loads from the lilac and clear recycling bags are of very high quality.

  • Hawick farmer banned from keeping livestock - Wednesday, May 4 2005
    Livestock farmer Ross Severs of Doorpool Farm, near Bonchester Bridge, was disqualified for life from keeping cattle, sheep, pigs or game birds when he appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Friday 29 April. As well as being banned from keeping animals he was also fined £700 for his two most recent offences.
