Open meeting to discuss Hawick Flooding

There is to be a special, informal, open meeting of the Teviot and Liddesdale Area Committee in the Town Hall in Hawick at 8.00p.m. on Tuesday 18 October, following the regular monthly meeting.
This meeting is being organised so that Hawick folk can discuss last week's flooding with officials from Scottish Borders Council, the Emergency Services and SEPA, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. There will also be a chance to hear about the recovery operation.
