Saturday Orchestras at Tait Hall

The Saturday Orchestras, String Ensemble and Band perform at the Tait Hall on Sunday 26th November.

There will be two concerts, one at 2pm and a second at 4pm, with around 165 young musicians taking part. The event will be introduced by Councillor Alasdair Hutton, Convener of the Council. Tickets for the events will be available on the door, with only a few still available for the later performance. Ticket availability can be checked on 01835 825097. 

The orchestras taking part will be the Border Youth Orchestra, the Junior String Orchestra, the Junior Wind Band and the String Chamber Ensemble. These groups financed by Scottish Borders Council and the Scottish Arts Council's Youth Music Initiative and supported by Borders Young Musicians.
