Denholm victorious at Border Primary Schools netball tournament

A Mixed Netball tournament was held at Queens Centre, Galashiels, on Thursday 16th November – giving the small Borders primary schools the chance to compete against each other in a friendly competition.
The standard of play was high and the pupils quickly adapted to playing on a larger court. The ball was moved quickly from defence and there was a high number of successful shots at goal.
Denholm Primary School came out as tournament champions, having won all their games with a good all-round performance from the team. Balmoral Primary and Westruther Primary shared second place.
