The Guid Scots' Diet
Thursday, February 2 2006
Today, the food we eat is subject to more discussion and debate than ever before. The Guid Scots' Diet is an exhibition which reflects this debate, through a tour of the Scots diet from the days when hunter gatherers chased wild boar to a look into the modern larder.
The exhibition runs from 30 January to 17 March at the Gallery in the Chambers Institute, High Street, Peebles and will then be on tour until March 2007 at various Borders Museums. Come and decide which diet would suit you and reflect on whether "plenty" brings pleasure or pain. For further information, contact the Museum office on 01721 724820.
