Time is running out for Private Landlords to register

From 31 March 2006, all private landlords will have to be registered with the local authority in which they rent residential property.

Registration Workshops from the 6 - 10 March.  The Council’s Housing Strategy Team is holding a series of 5 workshops that will address why registration is beneficial to landlords, agents and their tenants and the procedures in registering with the Council.  They will also aim to provide the landlord with the knowledge and understanding of their requirements under the Antisocial Behaviour Etc. (Scotland) Act 2004 and the help and assist available from the Council in tackling antisocial tenants.
The workshops will be held between 6:30 - 8:30pm in:

Hawick - Mansfield House Hotel
Peebles - Hydro Hotel
Kelso - Cross Keys Hotel
Galashiels - Kingsknowe Hotel
Duns - White Swan Hotel
