2007 Floral Gateway Competition Results

The 2007 competition, the seventh year of the event, had 21 entries.  Trophies and certificates of excellence were awarded by SBC Councillor Jim Fullarton, Executive Member for Technical Services at an awards ceremony in Melrose.

 

The results were as follows:

 

Town Class

1st    Peebles            

2nd   Kelso                

3rd    Hawick  

 

Large Village Class

1st    Melrose

2nd   West Linton       

3rd    St Boswells

  

Small Village Class

1st    Broughton         

2nd   Yetholm            

3rd    Greenlaw

  

Wee Village Class

 1st    Whitsome (see picture of Houses in Whitsome)        

2nd    Morebattle         

3rd    Bowden
