Plans and Research
The Plans and Research team’s role is to publish, monitor and review the Council’s statutory Development Plan, made up of the Structure Plan and Local Plan. The Section also prepares Supplementary Planning Guidance to assist the implementation of the Plans. We also maintain the databases that support the Development Plan and analyse the external and internal policies that influence it.
