It is vital that the Development Plan complies with national policy and is consistent with the planning policies of adjoining local authorities.
As a result our team is responsible for responding to, or co-ordinating the Planning and Economic Development response on:
- consultations on proposed changes to Scottish Planning Policy and Planning Advice
- consultations on adjoining local authority Structure Plans, Local Plans or other planning related policy documents.
