Research and Information
Policies contained within the Development Plan must be monitored, reviewed and based on up-to-date information so that they are robust and justifiable. To monitor the Development Plan, the Planning and Economic Development Department manage a number of key databases and research projects.
The department also contribute to the Council’s Corporate Information Management Group (CIMG) through regular attendance and contribution to joint projects.
