Scottish Borders Elder Voice

Scottish Borders Elder Voice are an independent charitable organisation which aims to promote a positive view of ageing, recognising the considerable contribution that older people can make to their communities.  Their main objectives are:

  • to establish structures and ways of working which involve the 50plus in the design and delivery of public services
  • to counter ageism and promote healthy lifestyles and community structures which value the 50plus
  • to provide simpler access to community care services
  • to encourage the development of an inclusive society.

Membership of Elder Voice is free and new members are welcomed.  They meet regularly, normally on a monthly basis, and produce an informative newsletter.
