Court Services
The Criminal Justice Team provides Social Work Services to the four Sheriff Courts in the Scottish Borders and to the High and District Courts as required. Services are provided by court-based Social Work staff whose main duties include:
- carrying out post sentence interviews
- providing written and verbal reports to courts
- monitoring reports submitted to courts
- liaison with sheriffs
- liaison between court and social work staff.
