Services for people bereaved by suicide
It is devastating to lose a loved one to suicide. Many questions can be left unanswered. Although every situation is unique, across the country many others affected by suicide are struggling with similar problems. The organisations listed below are sources of support that you can turn to for help. You can also contact your local Social Work office and ask to speak in confidence to the Duty Social Worker.
- Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS)
SOBS offer emotional and practical support for all those who have been bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend. More information is available by contacting them at:

Cruse Bereavement Care offer counselling and support for anyone who has been bereaved by suicide, helping them to understand their grief and cope with their loss. They also provide information, advice, education and training services. For more information, please contact them as follows:
