Family Support Service

The Family Support Service is a team of Social Workers, Intensive Outreach Workers, Health and Education staff who provide support services for children, young people and parents in the Borders.

There are six Family Support Centres based in Eyemouth, Hawick, Galashiels, Innerleithen, Kelso and Selkirk.  Each is staffed by family support workers and playleaders and offer a range of services to support parents, parents to be, children and young people.  If you would like more information about these services, you can speak to a Midwife, Health Visitor, Social Worker, Teacher, GP or other support agency.  You can also contact the Family Support Service or your local Family Support Centre directly.
