Collections (waste & recycling)
We offer businesses in the Scottish Borders a collection service for general waste and paper, cardboard, cans, cartons and plastics for recycling. We will do what we can to tailor a service to fit your needs.You can see more information on this.
Glass recycling services are provided to businesses in the Scottish Borders by our partner Viridor Glass Recycling Ltd, 0131 663 1061.
Landfill site & waste disposal facilities
The landfill site at Easter Langlee, Galashiels, is available for the disposal of commercial waste. Commercial waste cannot be accepted at Community Recycling Centres, which are only for household waste. You can see details of tipping charges and landfill tax.
The landfill site is open:
Monday 7.30am to 11.55am and 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday to Friday 7.30am to 11.55am and 12.30pm to 4.00pm
It is closed on Saturday & Sunday.
Easter Langlee is on the Langlee to Lauder road, off the B6374 Galashiels to Gattonside road.
