Geographical Areas
Waste and Recycling collections in the Scottish Borders are operated in four geographical areas. Please check the following list to confirm the area you are in. These area names are used in our adverts and other notifications.
Area A – Roxburgh Area
covering Roxburgh, Hawick, Jedburgh, Kelso, Newcastleton, Hermitage, Bonchester Bridge, Yetholm, Ancrum, Burnfoot, Smailholm, Ednam, Roberton and Sproutston.
Area B – Ettrick & Lauderdale Area
covering Galashiels, Selkirk, Melrose, Lauder, Earlston, Stow and Clovernfords.
Area C – Tweeddale Area
covering Peebles, West Linton, Innerleithen, Walkerburn, Carlops and Broughton.
Area D – Berwickshire Area
covering Duns, Coldstream, Eyemouth, Chirnside, Greenlaw, Gordon and Coldingham.
