Paths to Health

Walk it is the local Paths to Health project.  Paths to Health is a national organisation that was set up to support the development of special walking projects throughout Scotland. Their main purpose is to help people in Scotland get healthier and more physically active through walking. There are lots of Paths to Health projects in Scotland and Walk it the project for the Scottish Borders.

Walk it

Walk it was set up in 2003 by a partnership which included Scottish Borders Council, Borders NHS,  Paths to Health, the Scottish Tourist Board, Borders and Scottish Enterprise, Borders. Today Walk it is managed jointly by Scottish Borders Council and NHS Health Promotions and has continued support from Paths to Health.
