Summary

Think of our walks as a starter pack to your health and well-being.  They are designed for people who are seeking a healthier lifestyle and are fun, social events.  They usually last between 30 minutes to an hour and are over easy routes - no long distance hill walking is involved.  The walks are free and all you need is a pair of comfortable shoes.  So why not join our friendly Walk Leaders for a stroll and a blether and start to walk your way to health and happiness now!

Please note: Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.  Please wear suitable clothing - comfortable shoes and warm or weatherproof clothing if the weather is cold or wet.  Dogs are allowed if agreed by the group, but must be kept under control and may need to be kept on a lead.

The Walk It 2008 leaflet (pdf) describes a series of weekly, fortnightly and monthly walks aimed at people who are seeking a healthier lifestyle.  The walks are based in the towns of Gordon, Eyemouth, Galashiels, Kelso, Newstead, St Boswells and Walkerburn.
