Summary
Scottish Borders Council agreed to produce an internal Environmental Action Plan when it became a signatory to the New Ways Environmental Strategy in 2003. This plans enables Scottish Borders Council to set out its obligations under current and forthcoming environmental legislation, to increase efficient use of resources and improve its environmental profile with external partners through leading by example.
