Town Trails

At present there is a series of eight Town Trails. Their aim is to welcome visitors and provide information to both locals and visitors about the history and architecture to the towns.

The Trails generally start in the town centres and will take about 1-2 hours to complete. In some towns interpretation boards mark the start of the Trail and all trails have a series of plaques on buildings along the route.

A number of the Trails are currently being revised and new leaflets should be available shortly.

The current Town Trails are as follows:

  • Kelso (available soon)
