Doors Open Day

Doors Open Day celebrates the annual European Heritage Days event involving thousands of buildings throughout Scotland. Every weekend in September you can take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to discover Scotland's hidden heritage. Doors Open Days offer the chance to explore some of Scotland's most interesting buildings, ancient and modern - free of charge!

Similar events are run throughout the rest of the UK. Doors Open Day complements another exciting event in September: Scottish Archaeology Month, run by the Council for Scottish Archaeology

Doors Open Day was held in Melrose in 2004 and Selkirk in 2005. If you would like more information on this year's event, contact us.
