Buildings at Risk
The Scottish Civic Trust runs the "Buildings at Risk" Service in Scotland. It is maintained on behalf of Historic Scotland who recognise the need to tackle the decline of many of our Listed Buildings.
Our staff help to update this national register. There are currently 57 properties shown on the register within the Scottish Borders.
Although a building might appear to be at risk, work may be going on in the background to secure its future. The inclusion of properties on the list does not necessarily mean that they are available to buy and restore.
