Archaeological Investigations

As part of the Planning process there may be a requirement for developers to ensure that archaeological investigations are carried before building/ demolition, etc. takes place.  This work is normally carried out by professional archaeologists employed by the developer but approved by the Archaeology Officer.

This page will provide anyone interested with the opportunity to view some of the reports that are produced by the work.  A few examples are listed below and others will be added through time.
