Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers

The Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers (LNCT) negotiates terms and conditions for teachers who work for Scottish Borders Council.  It has ten members, five of whom are teaching union representatives, and five of whom are management representatives. It meets  on a regular basis  throughout the year.  This area of the SCB website will provide regular updates to teachers on the work of the Committee and provide access to papers and minutes from the meetings. The joint secretaries for the group are Kay Miller borders@eis.org.uk and Yvonne McCracken ymccracken@scotborders.gov.uk
