Teenagers
How do I join?It's free and anyone can join. Ask Library Staff for a membership form. If you're under 16 complete your details and ask your
parent or guardian to sign and return it. They need to take it to the library with something showing where they live, for
example a driving license or payment book. You will be given your own library card that lets you take out 10 items from any
of our libraries. You also need the card number and PIN to access the computers.

What's there for me?All kinds of books from graphic novels, horror and romance to music, sport and health. All books are Free to borrow. Information
on everything you've always wanted to know but were afraid to ask! Special events, Magazines and newspapers, Computers with
free Internet access. Music CDs, videos and DVDs to suit all tastes, available for a small charge. We even have books and
online sites to help with school work and study

How long can I keep stuff out?For up to three weeks. If you want to keep them longer you may renew them online using the library catalogue, by phoning the library or bringing them in. Remember to bring your card to borrow or renew items.
What happens if I bring it back late or lose it?If you are under 16 you will not be fined for bringing things back late. If you are over 16 you will have to pay a small charge.
If you lose items please tell the librarian as soon as possible. You may have to pay towards the cost of replacing them.

How do I find out what you've got and where it is?The library catalogue, which lists everything, is available online and all the library computers have a link to it. You can also use the catalogue to reserve items if they are not on the shelf.
Ask library staff if you need help using the catalogue.
