LEADER+: What is eligible?
LEADER+ funding is available for innovative and sustainable projects, which further the innovation area aims.
Innovative is defined as actions which:
- do not replicate or substitute actions which are supported by national or EU public funding
- are a new response to an existing problem
- introduce new procedures, processes or approaches to community economic regeneration.
Sustainable is defined as activities which:
- work towards economic growth, social cohesion and the protection of the environment
All LEADER+ projects must fit into one of the four priorities and promote the themes of the Programme.
